Yup, I just have to add my thoughts to the neverending stream of journal entries and articles...

As all of you might have heard by now, Michael jackson is dead. His songs are played about everywhere around the world at the moment, there are several news up here in deviantArt dealing with him, tons of pictures showing him have been uploaded during the last few days. Uh, okay. Fine with me. He was a more or less great man who made great music. But... that's about it, if you ask me. No need to make such a fuss about it...

Yesterday I read a news article here where the author said "I felt a loss today that I could only describe that I felt to my soul." Good grief, about 99,9% of all those people who cry, grief and what-do-I-know didn't even know him - in person, that is.
Of course, a lot of these aggressive comments I saw under that article were more than just unnecessary and disrespectful, no need to get insulting there now. However... I do agree with the core of those comments. Why be all sad and depressed because someone died who wasn't even close to me? Okay, he died. But why do I need to feel all down when people tell me "Hey, Michael Jackson died!" and look as if they're about to cry? Honestly, it's getting on my nerves by now...

On the other hand - I don't understand that fuss over living people, either. Those hardcore-fangirls are, like, another species...

Anyway...
To those who think they have to insult Jackson because he was accused of being a child molester: Let him rest in peace. He was never found guilty and we will never know what he did and what not concerning this. Maybe he did molest children, maybe not. We can'don't know for sure, so just stop these lame accusations already.

To those who worship him: He was only human, too. Get real.
